I know that this Casting Crowns song deals specifically with the moral failure of marital commitment and trust. However, I cannot help but apply the power of these lyrics to everyday life - the truths and depth of these statements relating to every aspect of parenting. What are we spending our time doing? How are we responding to things? What behaviors are we modeling? The things we allow ourselves to see, where we go, what we listen to and what proceeds out of our mouths are vital - and they are being noted by our children.
