This is not normal for me...I don't usually make requests on this blog...but my brother-in-love, Rayda needs your prayers. Our whole family does.
I'm not going to overload you with details but he was diagnosed yesterday with Superior Vena Cava Syndrome (SVCS). Reading about it and all the possibilities is showing me how to pray but is definitely causing a slew of emotions as well. He was admitted to the ER late last night and we are waiting for further information today. They were supposed to operate immediately but for some reason it was put off until sometime today. It is hard being on opposite coasts.
My singing "I've got peace like a river" doesn't seem so mysterious any more. God was already preparing my spirit. Things don't feel real peaceful right now but I know that my peace is dependent on Him, not the circumstances.
